Empowering Students with Digital Skills for a Brighter Future......

🖥️ Bridging the Rural-Urban Digital Divide

In today’s fast-paced digital world, operating a computer is no longer a luxury—it’s a basic necessity. Yet, for children in villages like Bhanpur and Kekadiya, a computer was once something they had only seen in textbooks.

With the IT Labs for Rural Schools initiative, Abhedya has made digital literacy a reality for hundreds of students.

🔧 What the Labs Offer

Each government school lab is equipped with:

  • 💻 15 refurbished or new desktop computers running educational and coding software

  • 🎧 Essential peripherals like headphones, keyboards, and optical mice

  • 🔋 Solar-powered UPS backups for uninterrupted access during frequent power cuts

  • 📚 Interactive educational software including:

    • Typing tutorials

    • Math games

    • Basic coding platforms like Scratch and TuxPaint

  • 🌐 24/7 Internet Connectivity to explore beyond textbooks

🌟 Support for Competitive Exam Aspirants

These labs also double as community study zones for local youth preparing for SSC, banking, railway, police, and teaching exams. Many of these students lack electricity, books, or internet access at home. With the IT Labs, they now have a reliable space to learn and grow—even during evenings and weekends.
